Digital Harbor Announces new version of PiiE

As seen on BusinessWire:

"Composite application platform PiiE(TM) 4.5 adds new dashboarding, semantic web services, and EII features"

From the Digital Harbor website:
"Digital Harbor PiiETM platform helps enterprises easily build composite applications and make intelligent decisions by seamlessly linking real-time information from many systems in a single, contextual application.
- For Business, PiiE gives users the context to understand a situation and act upon it.
- For Architects, PiiE uses a service-oriented approach to semantically relate enterprise data, processes and events.
- For IT, PiiE represents a radically faster, easier way to combine data and functionality."

Pretty good! As one of my colleagues recently pointed out - the next decade might as well see increased adoption of intelligence into applications. Computational devices have now exhausted almost everything to do with limited intelligence. Take Google for example -- other than going into new areas of business, do we see Google searches improving *drastically* with time? Ofcourse, hats off to the fact that they are the best at what they do.
Couple of new "intelligent" directions - Semantic Web and Autonomic Computing.
