abhishek has a handful of people who he call his friends. these are some of the most wierd personalities that you should keep away from one unless you have something else in mind. he is proud of this chunk that you will now get to explore.

baltimore hooligans

down under, the zealots that you see are abhishek's close knit group in baltimore. some are his roomates, some pretend to be his roomates. he has had the best times with these people, whether it is the no-ocassions parties, the all unplanned trips, all within the last couple of years at umbc.

piyush

roomate and good friend, would soon graduate with masters in computer science from umbc, employed with bdmetrics baltimore. never takes your word, always questions hence a good analyst i guess. avid drinker, highly resourceful, thinks big. and yeah he is damn proud of his thinkpad.

mohinder aka monty, third of my roommates, the most dreaded guy in umbc, probably the most popular as well. never fall for his soft voice. lives by whats in it for me principle. never trusted by anyone but also the most sought after guy. has more than one tales often his involvement is for granted. ferocious eater trying new cuisines is what he loves. fanatic about toning his body. has more faith in his java skills than his flirting abilities. completing his masters thesis in privacy policies at fujitsu labs.

total dont care attitude, a south indian with a difference. if you spot a guy with headphones at the umbc bus stop then thats him. the most expressive in the group when it comes to using the unparliamentary figures of speech. man of his own conviction. is highly elated these days anticipating his mumbai trip. wants to wind up his degree in mechanical engineering and settle down quick.

ck is a thorough mechanical engineer by practice, has a mechanical way of solving any problem. he is the best cook in our group, from chinese fried rice to chicken curry. his biggest fascination is for mobikes. he is the trip planner so to say. working on equine lameness for his masters research.

'chalna hai kya' - patel bhai..is he fed up of this gang or what. whether it is lost directions, pick up from nowhere, just call him at any hour and he will happily show up. totally relaxed man. guardian of this group in baltimore. his house is the venue for cricket viewing and his car for running errands.

probably the most uptodate guy in umbc. a conservative maharahtrian, knows to keep things under control. expert in getting cheap deals for anything and everything. busy finishing off his research in cryptography for his masters.

abhishek was fortunate to meet this lot at vjti, 'vaasu' his group, aptly evolved from the activities that they did best, oogling at the maidens in the school. those were the wonderful four years, made friends that he can depend on.

known since the vjti days, the calmest person you can ever come across, just cannot be perturbed by any situation. now at the university of missouri, columbia finishing of his masters thesis. probably his puntuality was shattered by his fellow group members of vaasus while at vjti.

the tall dude is probably the most determined guy in the vaasu group, now doing his phd at minnesota. does what he knows best, slog. passions include pc gaming, body bulding, rock music and women.

amba, another vjti dude with a casual attitude towards life. quickest at everything, be it studying, writing exams. was abhishek's buddy at siemens , now joined tata consultancy services, mumbai.

fondly called zaadya by abhishek, gawali by others,, has lost weight like crazy now though. dares to take the odd path. after vjti finished his masters from iit powai, now employed with a wireless startup in mumbai. likes to watch stars in the sky, interested in astronomy, sends some of the pakao emails with the pictures of birds, trees that he takes with his new digital camera..

shreyans

zaadya no 2, known him for past nine years. anything he gets involved, he sees to it that it ends up in a zhol. now providing software solutions for a company in new mumbai. a stauch marathi proponent, famous for his random excuses for showing up late at any event. a very close friend, presently angry for not calling him for past few months.

the gujju bhai, but never behaved like one a very calm personality, easy going and very accomodating.. he is voted to be the first one to get married in this group of five. after completing his management studies, he is now with nelco, mumbai.

now at colorado, scheduled to move to minnesota for his phd, this dude has a bagful of jokes and shayaris. his heroics include umpiring in an all women cricket match. has been involved in many crushes. a humorous, kind and practical person.

fourteen years, since ies sixth grade, sies, and then vjti, to say that he is abhishek's best friend would be an understatement. never would you see him raise his voice at anything. a friends best friend and no...he cant be anyones foe. smart looking dude with an impressionable attitude, good at evrything he does. abhishek is lucky to have met him. now at missouri,columbia was in every group that were mentioned above..

another of the langotiya yaar, known for more than fourteen years since ies. the man of his own conviction, an allrounder with never say die spirit. always takes up the hard challenges and comes out with flying colors. highly opiniated, can discuss with you on the most remote topic. a person with a big list of contacts. probably tells abhishek everything that he should not. currently at new mexico tech doing operation research.

sach, the self proclaimed sharukh mayur khan, abhishek's childhood friend. gonna spend his life delving in the books, an m. phil in physics from mumbai university knows mumbai and its streets in and out. drinks beer more than he drinks water. a staunch marathi mumbaikar, likes marathi novels. a very good friend, you can count on him for anything.

'jaggu' the fit man , spent childhood nights talking about the most insane things. walks at the pace of running. can do anything but studies. finally has settled in life with a good job, dunno how. follows cricket more than the players themselves, big fan of rahul dravid. has many kisse to talk about the girls in the colony.
