'Rules of the Game'   



     Note == for the 2006 class-- there will be three homework
             assignments. Each assignment will contain two Units.
             For each assignment choose one of the Units and
             do all of the problems in that Unit. Don't do some
             of the problems of one Unit and some from the other
             Unit. 

             If a problem requires that you write code to do a
             computation then include the code in your write-up and
             also send me a copy by email.

  1. The point total total for each Unit should be around 33 points.
     There is a maximum 
     of 100 points that a student can earn from homework problems. 
     

  2. Homework will be given out in three assignments.
     Each of these assignments will have a due date. Assignments
     turned in after the due date won't be accepted.

  3. Ordinary assignments should be done in a typed format. This is
     especially true of problems which can be answered primary with
     written text. An exception to the rule is a solution to a 
     problem with many mathematical symbols.
