CMSC 691B: RESEARCH PORTFOLIO REQUIREMENTS

Research portfolios were originally due next Tuesday, April 13.  Since
I have been remiss in providing these guidelines, I will postpone the
deadline until the following Tuesday, April 20.


Contents of Portfolio

Below is a list of items that should be included in your portfolio.

(1) A Program of Study form.  You do not need to obtain the signatures
    indicated on the form.

    Grades in completed courses should be included.

(2) A current curriculum vita (CV).

(3) Copies of sample publications, if any.

(4) A one- to two-page self assessment and research statement.
    Include a summary of research performed in the past year, current
    research directions, and research activities (publications
    submitted and accepted, conferences attended, presentations
    given, and awards received).
