Dr. Bhagwati Joshi
Dr Bhagwati Joshi retired as a senior lecturer of Hindi Literature in Delhi University .She completed her Masters from Indraprastha College , New Delhi and her Phd from Delhi University . Her dissertation was entiled " Bhakti Kal ke Krishna Bhakta kaviyon ki Ras Drishti ". She was teaching at Lady Shri Ram College , New Delhi .
Her research interests are in poetry of the medievial (Bhakti) period , especially poets like Surdas , Nanddas (other Ashta chhap poets) . She is also interested in Ram Bhakta poes such as Tulsidas . She has also served as the head of Hindi department .
