I have been managing this site since March 1996, when I first got introduced to the web. The site has gone through many iterations and has grown as my life and family grew. But the gist of my site has stayed the same and I still edit it using a basic vi editor.
March 1996 was also the year I got married and have had two lovely kids since then. Both of them keep us on our toes. Click on the Family button on the top of the screen to see the other members of my family.
I am an IT Program/Project Manager with fifteen years of experience in the software industry and am currently working as a Senior Information Management Officer / Project Manager in the International Monetary Fund . I have previously worked for MOREnet and Silverline Industries Limited , India .
I received my graduate degree in Masters of Science, Computer Science from University of Maryland, Baltimore County, CSEE Department and my Bachelor of Engineering(Computers) from University of Bombay/Mumbai, India. Copies of my Vita are available.
I have managed database systems and designed applications in various domains including Document Management, Productivity software, CRM/Helpdesks systems, Web Content Management systems, Facilities systems - CIFM, CMMS , IT systems- Network systems, change management systems etc. My current area of interest is in the upcoming fielf of Services Sciences, Management and Engineering and I have been researching on it. Other areas of interest include Data Warehousing and Data Mining and Process Design
