Wesley Griffin

I am a Graduate Student in the Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. I am a member of the VANGOGH Lab and my advisor is Dr. Marc Olano. My current research interests are in real-time graphics and non-photorealistic rendering. I am currently working on estimating surface curvature on deformable models in real-time using graphics hardware. You can contact me at grif...@cs.umbc.edu

Real-time Curvature Estimation

For my class project in Advanced Computer Graphics, I ported an existing algorithm for estimating curvature on polygonal meshes to the GPU. My new algorithm is a multi-pass GPU algorithm written in GLSL. Below are some pictures, and you can read some of the details in the class paper.
